 In today's post I'm going to provide you with some useful information on some of the ways BrainPOP can be used to increase student engagement.

• It can be used as a set induction to pull on prior knowledge or to introduce students to a new concept and to improve student engagement. Movies should be paused during viewing to engage students in meaningful discussions, discuss the meaning of new vocabulary as well as predict outcome. 
• BrainPOP provides students with a fun way to prepare for exams by reviewing concepts through the use of videos, games and quizzes while being able to review at their own pace.
